Have a Great Weekend and Upcoming Events

Hello. What a week! Who knew technology could be so fun? This week, we brainstormed ideas about specific Tall Tale characters and created a Wordle. Then we took that Wordle and stretched our brainstorms into phrases to create an Acrostic Poem. After that, we found a picture of our Tall Tale character and slid it into a word document to add to our display piece. Fun! We also started our Power Point projects and they are going great. The parent showing will be on Thursday, December 18th at 1:30 p.m. Please try to attend if possible. Final 3D projects will be due the day before, Dec. 17th. Students will need to bring them to school that day. We had a check in yesterday for the home portion of the Indian projects. Some kids are right on, but some need to get going. Please be talking with your child this weekend and making sure that they are on target. All students have been given a copy of the extensive outline of my expectations and directions for this project. If they meet the expectations they will earn a wonderful grade! Have a wonderful weekend, and go sledding or play in the snow! :0)
