Thank You!

It was SO great to see all of you at conferences! Thanks for being open and honest in our conversations. I am sorry the blog has been neglected this week. One, it was down for a little while, and two, it was just a crazy half day week. Next week will be back to business as usual. Parent/Child reading homework will be coming home on Tuesday and due on Friday. The BELIEVE fundraiser is due this coming Monday. I am sure they will accept late orders throougout the week however. Weekly reports went home today. They are due back Monday. We have had a few Science demonstrations in class all ready. Fun to see gravity in action. Remember that all projects are due this coming Friday. We finished up our Jackie Robinson novel today and will begin a new novel next week. We will be reading American Tall Tales and doing a lot of enrichment activities to go along with each tale. Students will be experiencing small book talk groups and really zooming in the on the skills of compare and contrast, clarifying, and fact verses exaggeration. We will also be taking a deeper look into similes and metaphors and how they help paint a visual in the readier's minds. Sounds like we will be busy, busy. Feel free to stop in anytime to visit.
