Can you say running, wall sits, lunges, soccer drills, more running, stretching, and plenty of jumping jacks? We got physical today! I can't even begin to tell you the difference it made in the classroom. We were pumped to learn and got a lot done. I appreciated how the kids took the new classroom theme, GET IN THE GAME, to heart. While gaming today I was able to observe some behaviors that we are definitely going to be touching on over the next month. Such as compassion, encouragement, positive competition, and positive leadership. This class is SO, SO competitive. That is great, as long as it is channeled in a positive way. We are going to really reflect on that. Yes!!

I am out tomorrow, so the kids have a sub. Technology calls. Kids will have a regular day tomorrow, and not sports themed. This is probably a good thing because I already feel the pain in my legs from today!

A couple of reminders:
1. If you still have your fundraising sheets please return them ASAP.
2. Students should wear or bring tennis shoes from now on to school.
3. Reading Calendars are due and done this Friday.
4. Volunteer Opportunity is this Saturday at Lake Elmo from 9-12. Sheets will go home on Wednesday.
5. End of the Year Field Trip permissions will go home on Wednesday as well. Please return as soon as possible.
6. Homework will be reduced due to new ways of teaching/learning. However, if students do not use their time wisely at school they will be held accountable to bring it home.

Thanks and have a super night!
