Respect Issues

Once again, for some reason, I find myself troubled. Can you do me a favor...Can you talk with your child about respect. At first, I thought it was the getting back form break routine, but it seems to be getting worse each day. This is frustrating because we had this problem solved before break. Students are shouting out, having sidebar conversations, and even arguing with me. This behavior is NOT tolerated in my classroom. I will be cracking down hard and money fines will be stiff for the next few days. We are here to learn, and that can not happen with so many interruptions. Students are expected to raise their hands if they want to talk and are expected to work quietly and independently when given study time. I really, really need your support on this issue. This is not only a classroom issue, but a life issue. If I treated Mr. Senitte this way I would be fired and so would you if you treated your boss disrespectfully. It comes down to we need to get things done, and we need to work as a team by listening to the leader. I appreciate your willingness on this favor. Thanks.
