Read the Comment Under the Video First.

The assignment: Discover, using only a cheerio, pencil, tongue depressor, a ruler, and your hand, what the scientific term fulcrum is. Students were given very little instruction as to how to figure this out. As you can see, some of them did figure out that the fulcrum is the part of the lever that bends or turns. In our case, it was the point where the pencil touched the tongue depressor. Science is fun! There is second video of more of the kids, but for some technical reason it will not upload. I will keep trying!! Until then, enjoy these young scientists at work!

*Please remember to send back pictures or money by Friday. Thank you!

*By the way...we are famous again! Yep that is right...Rusty gave us another shout out on today's morning minute. Parents write the exact shout out phrase from Rusty in your child's planner for tomorrow's check in, and they will receive a cash bonus of $300.00! The link is on the sidebar of this blog. We are so, so worth it!! SWEET!
