I am excited to get back into the routine of things tomorrow however. Before break we were able to finish up a lot of our units, so we will be starting fresh. The units I have planned are going to be hands on and exciting. I will give you a little hint about the next science lesson...how would you trap a leprechaun using simple machines? On Thursday, my friends at Montana Conservation Corp will be coming in to introduce our new novel, Julie and the Wolves. Fun! In math we will be continuing with our fraction unit and moving into measurement soon. Oh Boy!!! It is hard to believe that it is already March...I need more time with these kiddos!!
Students in need of earning money may write a constructive response to the following prompt question: Was your spring break a positive or negative experience? Support your answer with specific evidence. Remember to draw a box fifteen lines deep and stay inside that area. Also remember to have at least three sets of reasons and proof. Students will need to present their response on the elmo tomorrow to receive their reward. $500.00 will be rewarded for papers that receive a 3 or higher.
Don't forget that MontCas testing starts this Tuesday. We will be testing reading right off the bat at 8:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday. It is imperative that students are on time and have eaten a good solid breakfast, especially protein, like peanut butter or eggs. Please have students dress warm this week as well. It is important that they stay healthy for the testing season over the next two weeks. Extra hugs and words of encouragement will be essential as well when sending kids off to school. :0)
I hope that you had a GREAT spring break and I will see you all tomorrow! Missed You!
